Mrs. Corinne Botten

Head Teacher of Westwood College, Welling, Bexley, England

Mrs Botten has been Head Teacher at Westwood College since June 2003 and was responsible for the College being lifted out of Special Measures in May 2004.

Formerly, Vice Principal at Kemnal Technology College, with specific responsibility for pilot work for the DfES on Inclusion and The Arts. Corinne has worked in Kent, Croydon and Bromley.

She initially trained as a Drama Specialist and has a MA in Shakespeare studies from Birmingham University Shakespeare Institute. Other qualifications include BA Open, NPQH and Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Corinne is currently working to achieve Specialist Status in Science for the College.
