Mr. Mark Suckling
Deputy Head Teacher, Ravens Wood School, Bromley, England
Mark has a background in special needs and physical education. He gained an MBA from Lincoln University in 1998. He has completed the National College of School Leadership's consultant leaders course.
He has led a number of immersion programmes. He has a particular expertise in constructively using the results of classroom observation and student moral and social development.
He is the Ravens Wood leader on the McEntee/Ravens Wood School project which is designed to train heads of departments to be able to support good teaching amongst their colleagues.
Mark has visited Quebec where he learnt much about student voice and leadership.
Mark was a delegate at the Alliance's first international conference in Montreal, Feburary, 2003.
